The SBI Gram Saksham project is a rural livelihood initiative aimed at empowering marginalized communities through goat rearing and sustainable agriculture. Implemented in Uttar Pradesh, it has supported 1,500 families with goat distribution, fodder cultivation (berseem), and low-cost shed construction. The project promotes financial independence, improved nutrition, and income generation. Its holistic model strengthens rural resilience and self-sufficiency through training, asset support, and community-based monitoring.
